Abilene Zoo does not allow dogs within their premises. However, Abilene Zoo encourages all their dog owning visitors to take advantage of the Camp Barkeley Dog Park which is located inside the Grover Nelson Park, next to Abilene Zoo.

However, visitors can utilize the Camp Barkeley Dog Park which is located inside the Grover Nelson Park, next to Abilene Zoo. The Camp Barkeley Dog Park allow dogs to enjoy off-leash freedom in their two large fenced and separate dog parks.
